Three ASX Firms Lodge FY2026 Governance Disclosures Highlighting Compliance and Diversity

Spacetalk, Embelton and QEM filed ASX Appendix 4G governance-disclosure documents for the financial year ended June 30, 2026, with their governance statements approved by their boards and confirmed current as of September 28. Spacetalk and QEM publish their statements on company websites, while Embelton includes its statement in its annual report. The filings map each company’s disclosures against ASX Corporate Governance Council recommendations, including board responsibilities, director and executive appointment checks, written appointment agreements and company-secretary accountability. Embelton reported full compliance with the Principle 1 recommendations described in its filing. QEM disclosed that it does not have individual board committees, with the full board performing those functions, and did not set measurable gender-diversity objectives, citing its size and circumstances.
QEM said it provides security holders with all material information relevant to decisions on whether to elect or re-elect a director, in addition to conducting checks before appointing directors or senior executives.
Embelton’s Principle 1 compliance includes a diversity policy with measurable objectives for gender diversity across its board, senior executives and workforce.
Because Spacetalk published its Corporate Governance Statement on its website rather than in its annual report, it lodged a copy with the ASX at the same time as the annual report, as required under Listing Rule 4.7.4.
