Rowan Atkinson will return to the West End with a new comedy sketch show after forty years.

The show’s official opening night is scheduled for February 16, after previews begin on February 8.
The Not the Nine O’Clock News material will include the sketch character Gerald the Gorilla.
The production is directed by Raz Shaw.
Atkinson developed Mr Bean on stage in the 1980s before bringing the character to television and film; he also performed Bean at the 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony.
Tickets are due to go on general sale at noon on October 7, with a presale beginning at 9 a.m. that day.
Rowan Atkinson is returning to London's West End stage for the first time in 40 years. The 71-year-old British comedy legend will perform Rowan Live at the Gillian Lynne Theatre from February 8 to March 13, 2027, in a strictly limited 30-performance run The Bulletin Time.
The show will revive classic characters like Mr. Bean and Blackadder, mix in sketches from Not the Nine O'Clock News, and feature brand-new material Londonist. Atkinson is reuniting with longtime collaborators Richard Curtis, Ben Elton, and Howard Goodall for what marks his first West End comedy sketch show in four decades Ilford Recorder.

General ticket sales begin at noon on October 7, with an early presale starting at 9 a.m. the same day Reading Chronicle. Previews open February 8, 2027, with the official opening night on February 16. Only 30 performances will be staged, so demand is expected to be intense Ilford Recorder.
Director Raz Shaw will helm the production, which brings together Atkinson and the creative team that shaped some of British television's greatest comedy.
