No. 14 USC football team defeated Louisiana 49-30 in the Coliseum, marking the end of its nonconference slate unbeaten. The Trojans' freshmen scored four touchdowns, while quarterback Jayden Maiava was 19-of-29 for 261 yards and five touchdowns. King Miller led the USC rushing attack with 18 carries for 128 yards and one touchdown. Despite an uninspiring opening drive, USC managed to recover and take control of the game. This marks the third consecutive game of 250 or more passing yards for Maiaeva.
