SPACs raise capital through initial public offerings but hold funds in trust accounts until completing a business combination. Harraden's expansion underscores investor appetite for these vehicles despite regulatory scrutiny and past disappointments in the sector.
The firm's largest new investment was United Acquisition Corp. I, based in Boca Raton, Florida, where Harraden acquired 1.35 million shares valued at approximately $13.4 million. This gives Harraden roughly 12.9% ownership of the company, according to Watchlist News. The investment firm also bought 900,000 shares of JAB Acquisition Corp. I for about $9.0 million.

The Spring Valley stake totaled 563,577 shares valued at roughly $5.8 million, while the RF Acquisition position consisted of 180,750 shares worth about $1.8 million, giving Harraden 1.3% of that company, Watchlist News reported.
Harraden's existing holding in Texas Ventures Acquisition IV Corp expanded during the quarter. The company's shares opened at $11.20, above the 52-week low of $9.98 but above the upper range of $10.39. Wall Street Zen assigned the stock a "hold" rating on June 27, suggesting limited upside from current levels.
The increase in Harraden's Texas Ventures stake to 1.48 million shares reflected continued confidence despite the cautious analyst view. The position was valued at approximately $682,000, making it Harraden's smallest of the five SPAC investments announced this quarter.
Harraden was not alone in deploying capital into blank-check companies. RiverNorth Capital Management opened a JAB Acquisition Corp. I position valued at $3.518 million during the same quarter. Wall Street Zen separately rated JAB's stock "hold," suggesting measured enthusiasm among analysts.
Lineage Point Capital made larger bets on two of the same firms. The firm reported a $4.423 million stake in RF Acquisition Corp. III—substantially bigger than Harraden's position—and a $1.962 million investment in United Acquisition Corp. I, Watchlist News noted.
