Christina Applegate Shares First Video After Hospitalization

Applegate’s representative declined to comment on whether she was hospitalized or what treatments she received, saying she has “a long history of complicated medical conditions” and has been open about them through her memoir and podcast.

In an April message, Applegate addressed supporters directly, writing: “Health issues are a constant for me, but I’m a strong chick and I’m getting stronger and better every day,” while saying she was taking time to focus on her health.

Before the new hair video, Applegate had largely withdrawn from social media; her few subsequent posts included a throwback video with her daughter and a behind-the-scenes photograph from her memoir’s photo shoot rather than new personal updates.
