Dennis Haskins, best known for playing Principal Richard “Mr. Belding” on Saved by the Bell, has died at 75, according to a friend and caretaker. He first portrayed Belding in Good Morning, Miss Bliss before the character became a fixture of the hit 1990s sitcom, and later appeared in other film and television projects. Born in Chattanooga, Haskins was active at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, including as a founding member of its Harlequins community theater group. He was also a devoted wrestling fan who appeared on WWE programming and wrestling-related shows, including Z! True Long Island Story. No cause of death has been confirmed.
