CSIR-NIScPR adopts SARAL AI to transform research papers into engaging short videos.

CSIR-NIScPR has adopted SARAL AI, an initiative of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation, to turn research papers published in its journals into engaging, accessible short videos. The effort supports India’s push to use emerging technologies to improve science communication and make research easier to discover, understand and share, particularly among students and the public. More than 90 journal editors and researchers recently took part in a hands-on workshop organized by NIScPR. ANRF CEO Shivkumar Kalyanaraman said the tool can help researchers take their work beyond publication and broaden the impact of Indian research, while NIScPR Director Geetha Vani Rayasam emphasized reaching audiences beyond the scientific community.
