Jimmy Returns in Marshals

Luke Grimes said he and showrunner Spencer Hudnut wanted to “delight the audience” by bringing back Jimmy, whom Grimes described as a “universally loved” character.

Taylor Sheridan said he would not fictionalize the real Four Sixes Ranch, explaining the planned spinoff was canceled because “There’s never going to be one; I would never fictionalize that ranch.”

Sheridan said he assembled Jimmy’s scenes at the Four Sixes into a “perfect little movie,” showing the character arriving as “this misfit” and leaving “as a man and a respected cowboy.”

“Marshals” Season 2 began filming in Utah in June, following a 13-episode first season that became a ratings success for CBS and prompted the network to quickly renew the series.
