Arizona State cheerleader faces misdemeanor charges following a viral police confrontation in Tempe.

Arizona State University Senior Eryn Bonner was charged with misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and hindering or interfering with police after she allegedly interfered with an arrest in Tempe, Arizona. The incident was caught on viral video and Bonner suffered bruises to her face. The attorney for Bonner, Benjamin Taylor, has called for the arresting officer to be fired. Maricopa County prosecutors declined to proceed with felony charges against Bonner. Police say Bonner allegedly struck one of the officers during their arrests.
