Jurassic World Evolution 3 Expands With Five New Dinosaur Families And Architecture

Jurassic World Evolution 3: Prehistoric East is now available, adding five dinosaur family units—Nanshiungosaurus, Gobisaurus, Yangchuanosaurus, Sinosauropteryx and Tarbosaurus—alongside East Asian-inspired architecture, scenery and decorative features. The expansion emphasizes building regionally themed parks and tailored habitats, with the new animals ranging from small, social Sinosauropteryx to large predators such as Yangchuanosaurus and Tarbosaurus. It launches alongside Free Update 1.5, which adds custom walkways and makes Carcharodontosaurus available to all players.
Frontier said Nanshiungosaurus’s limited fossil record meant the team had to fill in gaps when designing it; its feathering and coloration were partly inspired by birds, including the golden pheasant.
Gobisaurus has armored skin but no large tail club. Frontier described it as relatively relaxed but “a little bit belligerent,” and said it needs considerable space and is not especially suited to sharing its habitat with many other dinosaurs.
Sinosauropteryx fossils are significant for evidence of feather-like structures and for helping researchers study dinosaur coloration.
Frontier characterized Yangchuanosaurus as “a bit more cerebral” than some large theropods, while still an apex predator; its design includes prominent crests above the eyes and differences between males and females.
