New England Patriots Kicker Andy Borregales Changes Jersey Number Ahead of Week 1

Andy Borregales, the New England Patriots' second-year kicker, is changing his uniform number from No. 36 to No. 8 in preparation for the team's Week 1 match against the Seattle Seahawks. The change was made after Borregale had been wearing numbers in the 30s since college at the University of Miami. He is the first Patriots player to wear No.8 since wide receiver Stefon Diggs was released from New England in March. Borregles has a big opportunity to become an impactful player for the Patriots, following a 31 total field goals in 21 games.
