AI Agents Expand Across Commerce and Services as Adoption Accelerates

AI tools are increasingly being designed to take action and use organizational knowledge across customer service, e-commerce, marketing and real estate. Jagadeesh Meesala’s enterprise work combines AI-enabled customer support, digital service channels and automated workload management, while Rezolve AI says its agent-based commerce technology and partnerships have helped lift conversion rates to 37.5%. Other projects include an open-source MCP server that lets coding agents search and cite a curated SEO knowledge base, and a content strategy agent that uses a brand’s publishing history and audience response to guide recommendations. Real estate technology firm Rechat has expanded its AI assistant to build full brokerage and agent websites for AI answer engines and traditional search, linking visitor activity to its CRM. Surveys indicate many consumers welcome AI help with product discovery and comparison but remain reluctant to let agents complete purchases without approval.
Meesala’s AI-enabled service applications can classify and prioritize customer inquiries, route them to the appropriate team, and provide conversational interfaces, recommendations and decision support for employees.
The SEO knowledge-base MCP server is open source under the MIT license, runs locally without an account or API key, and lets agents follow links and backlinks between notes rather than relying only on flat search results.
In a YouGov survey of more than 3,000 adults in the US and UK, 53% said they would never let an AI assistant make purchases for them, while only 7% would allow purchases without approval. ACI Worldwide’s Dan Coates described the hesitation as a trust issue: people are comfortable with AI helping them compare options but still want to make the final purchase decision.
The content strategy agent described in the article combines Hindsight for long-term memory, SQLite for structured content data, and Groq-powered language-model capabilities to make recommendations informed by a brand’s past content and audience response.
