AAP Plans Statewide Punjab Door-to-Door Campaign

The outreach operation will involve AAP’s youth, women’s and Scheduled Caste wings, along with other party units, in addition to the booth committees.
Manish Sisodia said the house-to-house visits would continue for one month, with workers discussing with residents how the government’s tenure had affected their families and personal lives.
Sisodia claimed that the government’s fulfilled guarantees provide an average Punjab household with an annual financial benefit of Rs 1.82 lakh, or more than Rs 15,000 per month.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is launching a massive door-to-door campaign across the state starting September 20, ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections. Times of India reported that the monthlong effort will deploy about 268,553 workers across 25,332 booths to highlight the government's development projects and welfare programs.
Mann, Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia said, will begin the outreach from his Dhuri constituency. According to News18, the campaign aims to directly present the government's four-and-a-half-year record to Punjab's urban and rural voters, with Sisodia claiming every household receives an annual benefit of Rs 1.82 lakh from fulfilled electoral guarantees.
The campaign will mobilize AAP's youth, women's and Scheduled Caste wings alongside booth committees. City Air News noted that workers will conduct house-to-house visits lasting one month, discussing how government programs have affected families' daily lives. The operation represents one of AAP's largest grassroots pushes before the 2027 elections.
Sisodia claimed the Mann administration has delivered on all major electoral promises. Punjab News Express reported that the campaign, branded 'Mann Da Munafa' (Mann's Profit), will showcase development achievements directly to voters. Sisodia said the government's programs provide an average family Rs 15,000 monthly in financial benefits.
Mann will begin the campaign from his home constituency Dhuri in Sangrur district on September 20. News9Live reported that the Chief Minister personally met with families during the launch, connecting with residents about government initiatives. Mann is also scheduled to release the campaign pamphlet in Ludhiana, expanding the outreach to Punjab's largest industrial city.
