The nominations for the 66th TV Week Logie Awards are out, with the ABC leading the pack with 41 nominations TV Central. The Gold Logie field features seven contenders: Lisa Millar, Julia Morris, Poh Ling Yeow, Robert Irwin, Sam Pang, Todd Woodbridge, and Ally Langdon New Idea.
The ceremony will be held on Sunday, August 16 at The Star in Sydney. It airs live on Seven and 7Plus. Robert Irwin will host — making him, at 22, the youngest host in Logies history Variety Australia.
ABC Dominates While Prime Video Leads All Streamers
The ABC's 41 nominations put it well clear of Nine Network (29) and Seven (16) Mediaweek. Its drama "The Family Next Door" and comedy "Dog Park" each scored three nominations. The ABC also picked up Most Popular New Talent nods for "Goolagong" stars Lila McGuire and Eloise Hart TV Central.
On the streaming side, Prime Video leads all platforms with 11 nominations TV Central. Its series "The Narrow Road to the Deep North" tops all individual programs with six nods IF Magazine. Network 10 also picked up 11 nominations, matching Prime Video's total.
New Bruce McAvaney Award Honours a Sporting Legend
A brand-new category debuts this year: the Bruce McAvaney Award for Most Popular Sports Presenter. It joins a list of trophies named after industry greats, including the Bert Newton, Ray Martin, and Graham Kennedy awards TV Blackbox. The five nominees are Danika Mason, Eddie McGuire, James Bracey, Jelena Dokic, and Ricky Ponting Daily Mail.

Robert Irwin steps in as host and is also nominated for the Gold Logie — a rare double. Irwin said his goal has always been to "spread an important message not only through our work at Australia Zoo, but also on the screen" TV Central.
How and When the Public Can Vote
Public voting for all Most Popular ("Best") categories opened at 9am AEST on June 22 and closes at 7pm AEST on Saturday, August 15 TV Week. The Gold Logie vote stays open until near the end of the live telecast on August 16. All nominated programs must have aired between April 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026.
The 2025 Logies drew an average audience of 1.5 million viewers, with a total reach of 3.5 million Media Spy. The 2026 ceremony also marks 70 years of television in Australia — a milestone expected to be a central theme of the night 7NEWS.
