Dodgers Win Game 1

Teoscar Hernández Hits Two-Run Home Run as Dodgers Defeat Braves in Game One

The Dodgers won 5-3 against the Atlanta Braves in Game 1 of the National League Division Series. Teoscar Hernández hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning to give the Dodgers the lead. He now has nine home runs in the playoffs the last three years, second-most on the Dodgers after Shohei Ohtani, and 27 RBIs in 34 games. Manager Dave Roberts defended Tanner Scott, who was removed from the game after giving up a home run to Ozzie Albies that cut the Dodgers' lead in half. Tommy Edman had a quiet day at the plate, but made key defensive plays at second base.
