Brazil briefs French and German officials on alleged US and Russian election interference.

Brazil has briefed French and German officials about alleged US and Russian election interference, according to Reuters. The Brazilian spy agency, Abin, confirmed the existence of interference from the United States and Russia, according the report. The alleged US interference was described as lawfare or interference that was openly acknowledged. The previously unreported visit highlights growing concern on both sides of the Atlantic over US President Donald Trump's efforts to support MAGA-aligned candidates. In Germany, officials have criticised the Trump administration's support for the far-right Alternative for Germany party in elections. The French and Germany officials were from Viginum, a foreign disinformation detection agency, and media and communications regulator Arcom.
