Mario Lopez Responds to Tiffani Thiessen Regarding Saved by the Bell Residuals

Mario Lopez, the actor for "Saved by the Bell" and costar Tiffani Thiessen, has responded to her claims that residuals for the show have become 'negative now' and that it costs more to print the check. This follows a recent discussion about the cast's residuals. The subject of the cast’s compensation was discussed during ID’S Hollywood Demons: After the Bell, which aired in May. Denise Simon, child star manager for "saved by The Bell," suggested that Lopez started out making about $1,500 per episode and that after a second season in 1991, the show was earning roughly $15 million in advertising. Mark Diamond, Dustin's dad, claimed that the earnings from Saved by theBell were not enough to cover the necessities of being a working actor, let alone to mitigate his family's financial situation.
