Sportradar Partners with Kalshi for Multi-Year Data Deal Powering MLB, NHL, MLS, UFC Prediction Markets

Sportradar has signed a multi-year global agreement with prediction market operator Kalshi to provide official league sports data and related infrastructure for betting markets spanning MLB, NHL, MLS, UFC and other properties. Under the deal, Sportradar will supply pre-game and in-play live odds, fan engagement and customer acquisition services, and integrity tooling including UFDS AI and Integrity Exchange, while also enabling Sportradar to contract directly with Kalshi brokers and market makers and sublicense data to Kalshi clients. Financial terms were not disclosed, but Sportradar positions the partnership as a foundational step in building a trusted, regulated prediction-markets framework. Reporting notes that the NBA is not included—despite Sportradar’s existing data rights there—because league officials have continued to monitor the prediction market space. Sportradar’s first prediction-market partnership is also credited with reflecting its broader experience serving online sportsbooks such as DraftKings and FanDuel using its data, odds, and integrity capabilities, and the news reportedly helped boost Sportradar’s stock.
The NBA was omitted not just generally because of league caution, but specifically because NBA Commissioner Adam Silver is “still monitoring the prediction market space,” according to reporting. Sportradar declined to comment on whether NBA talks are underway or why other leagues are included.
The leagues covered by Kalshi (MLB, MLS, UFC, NHL) align with each property’s existing prediction-market marketing deals: MLB/MLS/UFC have agreements with Polymarket, while the NHL has partnerships with both Polymarket and Kalshi.
Sportradar’s announcement followed an earnings-call tease: during its first-quarter earnings call, executives “teased a possible, major announcement,” which they followed up with the June 8 “global agreement.” The agreement is described as “non-exclusive” and of unspecified, multi-year duration.
The Kalshi deal is the first attributed to Sportradar’s newly formed business unit, “Sportradar Prediction Services,” which was set up to sell Sportradar’s prediction-market offerings to companies in that sector.
Beyond listing the tools, Sportradar’s release frames what they do operationally: “Official Sports Data and Live Odds” are intended to power pre-game and in-play markets “enhancing market efficiency while ensuring timely settlements,” while integrity services include UFDS AI to “detect[] suspicious behavior” and an Integrity Exchange “which enables participants to share integrity threats through a secure network.”
