Stephen Curry overcame early physical doubts and injuries to achieve peak NBA conditioning.

Stephen Curry, a 25-year-old Golden State Warriors guard, faced significant doubt and apprehension before he made his debut in the 2009 NBA Draft due to his limited physicality and lack of athleticism. His 3-point skills were the highlight of his rookie season, where he sank 166 shots from beyond the arc. However, he would only play 26 games in the 2011-12 lockout due to recurring aches and sprains in his right ankle and other foot injuries. Despite these setbacks, Curry signed a four-year, $44 million extension with the Warriors ahead of the 2012-13 season. He credits late Kobe Bryant for helping him take his fitness more seriously. Despite being 38 years old, Curry appears to be at the peak of his conditioning.
