Dogwood Wealth Management Expands Core ETF Holdings, Reinforcing Strategic Positions Across Funds

Dogwood boosted its JAAA stake to 149,985 shares in Q2, up 10,691 shares (a 7.7% quarterly increase), representing roughly 3.0% of its holdings and ranking as the 12th-largest position, with a quarter-end value of about $7.573 million.
Dogwood's OUNZ holding rose to 259,990 shares (up 29,911 in the quarter), about 4.0% of its portfolio, making it the 6th-largest position with a value around $10.033 million.
Dogwood increased its PVAL position to 426,694 shares (up 32,618), about 8.6% of the portfolio, making it the largest holding with a value of roughly $21.74 million.
Dogwood trimmed AVLC to 109,391 shares (down 6,462) for about 3.9% of the portfolio, ranking it as the 7th-largest holding with a value around $9.841 million.
Dogwood increased its VTI stake to 51,529 shares (up 3,720), about 7.5% of the portfolio, placing Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF as the 3rd-largest holding with a value of roughly $19.068 million.
Dogwood Wealth Management LLC expanded its holdings across several exchange-traded funds in the second quarter, boosting stakes in five major ETFs and reinforcing its broad market and sector strategy. The firm's largest move was a 8.3% increase in Putnam Focused Large Cap Value ETF (PVAL), pushing that position to 426,694 shares and making it the firm's top holding, according to Watchlist News.
Across the board, Dogwood added shares in JAAA, OUNZ, PVAL, and VTI while trimming one position. The firm's total portfolio reflects a mix of fixed income, precious metals, growth, and broad stock market exposure.
Dogwood's biggest quarterly addition came in Putnam Focused Large Cap Value ETF. The firm added 32,618 shares, bringing its total to 426,694 shares. That stake is now worth roughly $21.74 million, according to Watchlist News. PVAL now makes up about 8.6% of the entire portfolio — the firm's single largest position.
The 8.3% increase signals a strong conviction in large-cap value stocks. PVAL targets large U.S. companies that appear undervalued relative to peers. Dogwood's move puts it well ahead of its next-largest positions in terms of dollar weight.
Dogwood also added 29,911 shares of VanEck Merk Gold ETF (OUNZ), a roughly 13% increase. The firm now holds 259,990 shares worth about $10.03 million. OUNZ, which tracks physical gold, ranks as the firm's 6th-largest holding and makes up about 4.0% of its portfolio, per Watchlist News.
On the fixed income side, Dogwood added 10,691 shares of Janus Henderson AAA CLO ETF (JAAA), a 7.7% quarterly increase. JAAA holds top-rated collateralized loan obligations — a type of bundled loan product. The firm now owns 149,985 shares worth $7.57 million, placing it 12th in the portfolio at about 3.0% of holdings.
Dogwood added 3,720 shares of Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF (VTI), a 7.8% quarterly increase. The firm now holds 51,529 shares worth roughly $19.07 million. VTI gives investors exposure to the entire U.S. stock market in a single fund. It now sits as the third-largest holding, making up about 7.5% of the portfolio.
Not every ETF saw a boost. Dogwood cut its position in Avantis U.S. Large Cap Value ETF (AVLC) by 6,462 shares, a 5.6% reduction. The firm now holds 109,391 shares worth about $9.84 million. AVLC ranks 7th in the portfolio at roughly 3.9% of total holdings, according to Ticker Report.
The AVLC trim is modest but notable given that Dogwood simultaneously increased PVAL, another large-cap value ETF. The moves suggest the firm may be shifting its large-cap value exposure from AVLC toward PVAL, while also adding growth exposure through a 5.9% increase in SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 Growth ETF (SPYG) to 74,843 shares, per Ticker Report.
