Divers recover body of missing patient following fatal medical helicopter crash near Catalina Island

Divers have found the body of a patient who went missing after a medical helicopter crashed into the Pacific Ocean off Catalina Island near Los Angeles, bringing the death toll to three. The Coast Guard found the victim's body in the wreckage of the helicopter after a 23-hour search. The cause of the crash is not clear and the National Transportation Safety Board is investigating. The helicopter's operator, REACH Air Medical Services, confirmed that two of its crew members died and a third is recovering at a hospital. The aircraft was identified as a Eurocopter EC-135-P2 and will undergo evaluation at a secure facility.
