Strategy Asks Shareholders to Approve Daily Dividend Payments for Preferred Stocks

Strategy is asking shareholders to approve daily dividend accruals for its preferred stocks STRF, STRC, STRK and STRD, with payments made on the next business day, including for dividends accrued on weekends and holidays. The proposal changes payment frequency—not the securities’ annual dividend amounts, rates or core rights—and is intended to improve price stability, liquidity and investor demand. Shareholders are expected to vote at a special meeting on October 28, 2026; if approved, the daily schedule is expected to begin for STRC on November 1, with its first payment November 2, and for STRF, STRK and STRD on January 1, 2027, with first payments expected January 4.
Before the proposed change, STRC paid dividends twice a month, while STRF, STRK and STRD paid quarterly.
Strategy’s board approved sending the proposal to shareholders on September 24, 2026; September 25 was set as the voting record date, and the virtual special meeting is scheduled for October 28. If approved, the amendments would take effect after being filed in Delaware.
Strategy shares rose 1.19% to $163.54 in premarket trading on Friday after the board proposed the daily dividend structure.
