Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt have reached a joint co-parenting agreement for their seven-month-old daughter, Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, two months after their May 2026 split. The former couple issued a joint statement saying they are 'cooperatively parenting' and committed to giving Scottie 'love from both of us,' according to TMZ.
The agreement formalizes what insiders say has already been happening on the ground. Davidson, 31, has remained a constant presence in Scottie's life since her birth on December 12, 2025, The Blast reported.
A Daughter's Name Carries Deep Family Meaning
Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson's full name was chosen with care. 'Scottie' honors Davidson's late father, Scott Matthew Davidson, a firefighter who died on September 11, 2001. 'Rose' comes from Hewitt's own middle name. The name ties together both families from the start, according to Hungama Express.
Scottie was born in December 2025, roughly nine months after Davidson and Hewitt began dating in March 2025. The couple's split came in May 2026, when Scottie was just five months old. Head Topics reported the breakup was driven by parenting disagreements before the two found common ground.
Davidson Described as '100 Percent Present' in Scottie's Life
Sources close to the situation say Davidson has been deeply involved since day one. He is described as '100 percent present in Scottie's life,' according to insiders cited by TMZ. That involvement goes beyond just showing up. Davidson has covered Scottie's housing, living costs, and health insurance.
Davidson also marked key milestones with his daughter. He spent Father's Day with Scottie in New York, joined by his mother, Amy Waters Davidson. The outing showed the extended family rallying around the newborn, The Blast reported.
Hewitt Balances Motherhood and Work While Sharing Milestones Online
Hewitt, a British model, has been raising Scottie largely on her own day-to-day since the split. She has shared photos and updates of Scottie's milestones on social media, giving fans a window into early motherhood. Tuko noted she has handled much of the parenting load while continuing her career.
Despite the split, both parents have kept their tone cooperative and warm in public. Their joint statement made clear that Scottie's well-being comes first. 'We are committed to giving Scottie love from both of us,' the pair said, as reported by Hungama Express.
Formal Agreement Signals a Stable Path Forward for Scottie
The joint co-parenting deal came roughly two months after the May 2026 breakup. That quick turnaround suggests both sides wanted structure in place fast. TMZ reported that Davidson and Hewitt are now 'locked in' on co-parenting, using that phrase to describe their current dynamic.
Experts often point to early co-parenting agreements as a sign of stability for young children. Scottie is still under a year old. Having a formal plan this soon gives her consistency from both parents during a critical window of development. The Blast described the agreement as a reconciliation 'for the sake of their daughter.'
