MRP Announces Exclusive Agreement to Distribute Vydence Medical Aesthetic Platforms in US

MRP has struck an exclusive deal to bring three energy-based aesthetic platforms from Vydence Medical into the U.S. market for the first time, according to Business Wire. The agreement adds the Etherea MX, the Zye ALX, and the Zye YAG to MRP's portfolio — each priced at $70,000, or $1,785 per month with approved financing.
The partnership marks Vydence Medical's first entry into the United States. The Brazilian company, founded in 1987, is the only manufacturer of solid-state lasers in Latin America, Business Wire reports.
Three Platforms Target Core Aesthetic Treatments
Each of the three devices is designed to handle a range of common aesthetic treatments in a single platform. The Etherea MX, the Zye ALX, and the Zye YAG are now available through MRP, Yahoo Finance reported. The goal is to give clinics one machine that covers multiple needs rather than buying several devices.
All three platforms launch at the same introductory price of $70,000. Monthly financing starts at $1,785, subject to approval. MRP says the devices are available now for U.S. buyers, according to Post Register.
Vydence Medical Brings Decades of Manufacturing Behind It
Vydence Medical was founded in 1987 and is based in São Carlos, Brazil. It holds FDA, Health Canada, and CE Mark certifications, according to Business Wire. That trio of approvals means its devices meet regulatory standards in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
The company claims a unique position in Latin America. No other firm in the region develops and manufactures solid-state lasers, ADVFN noted. Solid-state lasers use a solid material — not a gas or liquid — to produce the light beam used in aesthetic treatments.
MRP Expands Its Energy-Based Device Portfolio
For MRP, the deal is a direct expansion of its energy-based device lineup. Adding three platforms at once is a significant move. The company now holds exclusive U.S. distribution rights for all three Vydence products, according to Yahoo Finance Canada.
Exclusive distribution agreements give one company the sole right to sell a product in a market. That means no other U.S. distributor can offer Vydence's platforms. It locks in MRP as the only path for U.S. clinics to buy these devices.
First U.S. Push for a Latin American Laser Pioneer
The deal is a milestone for Vydence Medical. Despite more than 35 years in business and a full set of international certifications, the company had not previously sold its devices in the United States. The U.S. medical aesthetics market is one of the largest in the world. Gaining FDA-cleared access and a dedicated distribution partner is often the hardest step for foreign device makers. Vydence now has both.
