Public Voting Opens for TWOPAGES X Design Contest 2026 Finalists After Record Global Entries

TWOPAGES' annual design contest has hit a new record. This year's competition drew 1,082 entries from 825 designers across 56 countries — the highest participation in the contest's history, PR Newswire reported. Public voting for the Top 20 finalists is now open and runs through June 30.
The 2026 contest is themed "Curtains as Art." It asks designers to reimagine window treatments as a medium for storytelling and personal expression. Winners will be announced at a grand finale in September 2026, with a total prize pool of $38,000 up for grabs.
The numbers tell a striking story. In 2025 — the contest's inaugural year — entries numbered in the hundreds. This year, submissions jumped to 1,082, according to Bustler. That is more than a threefold increase. Designers came from 56 countries, turning what started as a niche brand competition into a genuinely global event.
TWOPAGES founder Ray Chen said the results reflect a growing hunger for expressive design. "Curtains are more than just functional items; they are a canvas for lifestyle, emotion, and aesthetic vision," Chen said, per Morningstar. The company was founded in 2015 and now serves more than 600,000 households worldwide.
The Top 20 finalists will be judged by three well-known figures. Jennifer Farrell is a designer, curator, and television host. Ingrid Abramovitch is the former executive editor of Elle Decor. Bonnie Christine is a textile artist and educator. All three bring different lenses to the table, according to Owen Sound Sun Times.
Christine focuses on what she calls the "tactile richness" and "human mark" in designs. Abramovitch evaluates work for its narrative depth and market-ready sophistication. Farrell looks at how window treatments can create a "cross-disciplinary dialogue" — in other words, how a curtain can function like a piece of fine art.
The grand prize pays $10,000. Second place gets $8,000 and third gets $6,000. Seven additional finalists each receive $2,000. But the money is only part of the reward. Winners also enter a royalty-sharing agreement, meaning their designs can generate passive income as TWOPAGES sells them to its global customer base, The Observer noted.
Last year's grand prize winner, Sabrina Ramkhelawan, saw her "Canyon Grove" collection enter global production. "This contest has been an incredible journey of growth," she said. Her success mirrors that of past winner Jyll Mackie, whose Indian block-print designs became a company best-seller — despite Mackie having no formal design training, per PR Newswire.
Voting is open now and closes at the end of June 30. Public votes will combine with scores from the expert jury to determine the final rankings. The July–August window is reserved for the professional evaluation phase. The Top 3 winners and any commercial production partners will be revealed at the September 2026 grand finale, according to Wallpaper Magazine.
Industry observers say the public voting model is smart marketing. By letting consumers pick favorites, TWOPAGES builds early buzz for products that have not yet been made. Interior Design Magazine has called the contest a model for "co-design marketing," one that turns a customer base into a community of curators actively shaping what comes next.
