EBC Financial Group Receives Top Global Recognition as Trusted FX and Best CFD Broker.

EBC Financial Group has won two top honors at the World Finance Awards 2026: Most Trusted FX Broker and Best CFD Broker. The London-founded firm, which serves 5 million users across more than 100 countries, now handles over $390 billion in average monthly trading volume, according to Financial Post.
The awards, handed out by World Finance magazine on June 21, 2026, recognize EBC's transparency, execution speed, and regulated access across currencies, commodities, indices, and shares. CEO David Barrett said the honors "reflect what matters most to the clients the Group serve — trust and performance."
The Most Trusted FX Broker award focuses on how well a broker keeps clients safe and informed. EBC holds top-tier licenses from the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Australia's ASIC, as well as a Cayman Islands license for institutional clients, according to Financial Post. That multi-license structure sets EBC apart from brokers that operate offshore with little oversight.
The Best CFD Broker award highlights EBC's trading conditions for contracts for difference — financial products that let traders bet on price moves without owning the underlying asset. EBC claims order execution speeds as low as 20 milliseconds through its proprietary infrastructure. Samuel Hertz, Head of EBC Asia-Pacific, said 83% of clients recommend EBC, crediting a "trust-first" rather than "volume-first" growth strategy, according to Montreal Gazette.
The wins come at a difficult moment for the broader CFD industry. Australia's ASIC released Report 828, "Risky Business," in January 2026, warning of widespread retail losses. In Australia alone, 68% of retail CFD traders lost money in FY2024, totaling $458 million, according to PR Record Gazette.
Major regulators including the FCA and ASIC have tightened rules, capping leverage at 30:1 for retail clients and banning promotional bonuses. EBC kept its UK and Australian licenses rather than shifting entirely offshore, a strategy analysts say helped it earn "most trusted" status in an industry under heavy scrutiny.
EBC moved quickly when SpaceX made its historic Nasdaq debut on June 12, 2026. The firm launched SpaceX CFDs within days, giving retail traders access to a company valued at $1.75 trillion, according to The Whig. That speed of product launch reflects EBC's broader push to stay ahead of major market events.
EBC is also ranked among the top brokers in the UK and was named among the "Top 50 Listed Companies in Global Financial Markets" by Business Hub Middle East in December 2025. The company has partnerships with FC Barcelona and has donated to the "United to Beat Malaria" campaign — moves analysts say have boosted its brand trust score worldwide, according to County Market.
Not everyone is convinced. Some industry observers argue that media-hosted awards can reflect marketing budgets as much as real performance. Critics note this is EBC's third consecutive year winning, which skeptics say may point to sponsorship influence rather than pure operational merit, according to Clinton News Record.
At the retail level in markets like Kenya, traders have posted complaints on review platforms about unreceived promotional vouchers and the lack of a local Capital Markets Authority license. The FCA also issued a broader industry warning in October 2025 about firms pushing retail clients into "professional" categories to bypass leverage limits. EBC has not been directly cited in that warning, but the pattern highlights a tension between its elite global standing and its on-the-ground reputation in emerging markets, according to Prince George Post.
