Nano One Advances Development Project to Build LFP Cathode Production in Canada

Nano One Materials Corp. (Nano 1), a process technology company specializing in lithium-ion battery cathode active materials, is advancing its first Development Company (“Canada DevCo), aiming to establish a network of regional supply chain partners in Canada. The Project involves a proposed 25 ktpa cathode production facility, with potential expansion to up to 100 ktPA. Early development work includes site evaluation studies, infrastructure readiness, customer and strategic partner engagements, and engagement with regional suppliers of lithium carbonate, phosphoric acid, iron and key plant equipment. The project is supported by funding from Natural Resources Canada (CanNR). Nano One is focused on building shorter and more resilient supply chains for customers globally and aligns with Canada’s automotive, defence and critical minerals strategies.
