Central Family Advisors joins Prime Quadrant to expand multi-family office presence in New York.

Central Family Advisors and Prime Quadrant have announced a partnership to expand their multi-family office services in New York, National Post reported. The deal pairs Marcelo Mendoza's New York-based CenFam with Mo Lidsky's Toronto-headquartered Prime Quadrant, effective September 1, 2026.
Both firms serve wealthy families and provide independent, fiduciary advice. Prime Quadrant returned to full management ownership in 2025 after buying back its stake from Focus Financial Partners. CenFam, founded in 2016, built its practice on fixed-fee advice that does not require clients to move assets.
The partnership connects Financial Post: Prime Quadrant, an independent wealth advisor based in Toronto serving ultra-affluent clients, with Central Family Advisors, a New York firm specializing in fixed-fee, non-discretionary consulting. Together they expand their reach and service capabilities across the northeastern United States.
Both companies share a commitment to fiduciary, unbiased advice without conflicts of interest. Their complementary services let them offer families comprehensive planning that covers risk monitoring, cost evaluation, and coordinated investment decisions across multiple accounts and providers.
Financial Post noted that Prime Quadrant became fully management-owned in 2025 after repurchasing its minority stake from Focus Financial Partners. The buyback reinforced the firm's independence and its commitment to managing wealth without external ownership pressures.
This move positioned Prime Quadrant as a truly independent advisor, free to pursue partnerships like the CenFam deal. The firm now operates without ties to larger financial conglomerates that might create conflicts of interest for wealthy clients.
National Post reported that Central Family Advisors built its reputation since 2016 by charging fixed fees for non-discretionary advice. This model lets clients keep control of their assets while gaining expert guidance on risk, costs, and investment coordination.
The approach appeals to ultra-high-net-worth families who want advisory input without surrendering decision-making power or moving their holdings. CenFam's model proved popular enough to attract Prime Quadrant's interest in expanding together across New York.
