Tec-Do Hosts MARS2 Workshop at ECCV 2026 to Advance Multimodal AI Reasoning

Tec-Do has led the 2nd Multimodal Reasoning and Slow Thinking in the Large Model Era (MARS2) Workshop at the European Computer Vision Association (ECVA) 2026 in Malmö, Sweden. The workshop, led by Tec-Do, brought together leading academic experts from around the world. It explored how AI can move beyond perception-oriented "fast thinking" to more deliberate "slow thinking" and higher-order reasoning. The MARS2 also hosted a multimodal reasoning challenge with a total prize pool of US$100,000 across three tracks. The challenge results highlighted several emerging directions for multimodaled AI, with top-performing solutions using Proposer-Critic dual-model validation, coarse-to-fine localization and adaptive token allocation.
