Fresenius Kabi and AABB Announce 21st Annual Blood Collectors Week for September 2026

Fresenius Kabi and the Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB) have announced the 21st annual Blood Collectors Week, set to take place on 6–12, 2026. The week celebrates blood collection professionals who ensure safe, high-quality blood and blood components for patients. These professionals include phlebotomists, apheresis operators, donor recruiters, technicians, drivers, and medical directors. Nearly 200 blood collection facilities across the United States are expected to participate in Blood Collecters Week through recognition events, social media engagement, and employee appreciation activities. The event is co-created and sponsored by Fresenius, an Operating Company of Fresenior, a leading provider of essential medicines and medical technologies.
