Raiders Defeat Chargers

Kirk Cousins throws three touchdowns as Raiders defeat Chargers to start 2-0.

The Las Vegas Raiders defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 26-14 in a road game in Inglewood, California, ending a five-game road losing streak against the Chargers and a seven-game overall losing streak. Kirk Cousins passed for 253 yards and three touchdowns, while the defense forced a key turnover with less than four minutes remaining. Tre Tucker caught five passes for 119 yards and a long first-half touchdown, while Cody White had two catches for touchdowns. The Raiders took a 7-0 lead with 11:51 left in the first half when Cousins found Tucker wide open on a 40-yard touchdown pass. The Chargers' Justin Herbert was only 15-of-27 passing for 192 yards and two interceptions, ending their four-game winning streak against Las Vegas.
