New Mud Springs Trail System Opens Near Moab for All Riders

New Mud Springs Trail System, a new mountain biking destination near Moab, Utah, has officially opened its doors. The system includes miles of purpose-built trails for youth racing, adaptive cycling, families and riders of varying abilities. The opening coincided with the first Utah High School Cycling League race weekend, bringing over 1,100 youth mountain bikers to the area. The first phase of the system will total approximately 11 miles, including seven miles of beginner- and intermediate-level trails constructed last fall and approximately 3.5 additional miles of intermediate- and advanced-level trail expected to be completed this season. The trail system was designed to accommodate future youth and adult mountain biking races, adaptive bicycle competitions, and running events. The area is now open to the public, expanding mountain biking opportunities for riders of various ages and abilities.
