Madison Keys Suffers Stunning Third-Set Collapse Against Zheng Qinwen at US Open

American tennis player Madison Keys was eliminated from the US Open after suffering a third-set collapse against China's Zheng Qinwen. Keys, the 22nd seed on the women's side, was just the fourth seeded American player to bow out of the tournament. Despite winning the first set 6-1 and losing a tiebreaker in the second set, Keys had a 97 percent win probability at 40-30. Qinwen won the final seven games of the match and never faced another match point. Keys has been a finalist and semifinalist at the USOpen but has yet to win her home slam. Her lone major championship is the 2025 Australian Open.
