Queer Eye's Jeremiah Brent Partners with Shark to Unveil New Stylish Home Luxe Vacuums

Interior designer and *Queer Eye* star Jeremiah Brent has partnered with SharkNinja to front the new **Shark Home Luxe Collection**, launching June 3, 2026 Business Wire. The line features two premium vacuums built to look as good as they clean — a rare pivot for a category long defined by clunky black plastic.
Brent, a self-described clean freak who says he "lives to vacuum," calls the collection a natural fit. "The colors feel sophisticated," he said, "and the collection integrates into the home in a way that feels thoughtful rather than disruptive" Tom's Guide.
The Luxe Collection includes two models. The **Shark PowerDetect Speed** is a cordless stick vacuum weighing just 7 pounds Business Wire. It retails for $499, with exclusive colorways available for $379 on SharkNinja.com. The **PowerDetect UV Reveal** is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop priced at $1,299. It uses UV light to detect stains invisible to the naked eye Vacuum Wars.
Both models ditch the traditional glossy black look. Instead, they come in earth-toned finishes like Evergreen, Sagewood, Espresso, and Harbor Slate. SharkNinja Chief Design Officer François Nguyen put it plainly: "Performance remains the foundation, but we believe the products should look just as good as they clean" Las Vegas Sun.
Brent's personal go-to is the **PowerDetect Speed** cordless vacuum. He likes that it's light enough to grab quickly and stylish enough to "live in the room" rather than hide in a closet Tom's Guide. His favorite colorways are Evergreen and Sagewood — tones he says complement the organic textures he favors in his designs.
His husband, designer Nate Berkus — whom Brent calls a "triple Virgo" obsessed with order — leans toward the **UV Reveal** robot vacuum. Berkus prefers the Espresso or Harbor Slate finish. The robot handles deep cleaning automatically and flags hidden stains using UV technology, making it ideal for someone who wants a spotless home without lifting a finger Mashable.
The Luxe Collection didn't come out of nowhere. In April 2025, SharkNinja surveyed 1,000 U.S. adults and found that 55% of consumers believe color affects the emotional feel of their home. Yet only 12% thought appliance brands were actually getting color right SharkNinja. That gap drove the new direction.
The strategy mirrors moves by Samsung with its Bespoke refrigerator line and Dyson's premium marketing push. SharkNinja is now the #1 vacuum brand in the U.S. by dollar sales Business Wire. Analysts see the Luxe Collection as a direct challenge to Dyson, pushing Shark into a higher price bracket while keeping its value reputation intact Tom's Guide.
The UV Reveal robot cleared 20 out of 24 obstacles in testing and washes its own mop pad at 185°F Vacuum Wars. The PowerDetect Speed's auto-empty dock holds debris for 45 days. The robot's NeverTouch Pro base goes hands-free for up to 60 days. Both are technically capable machines by any measure.
Still, some reviewers urge caution. The UV Reveal's 4.1-inch height may not fit under low furniture. It also uses a high volume of water during mopping cycles. And the Luxe models share the same hardware as standard versions released in April — which were already discounted by up to $150 within weeks of launch Mashable. You're partly paying for the paint.
