Oncolytics Biotech Announces Positive Preclinical Results Combining Pelareorep With RAS Inhibitors

Oncolytics Biotech Inc. has announced positive preclinical results from combining Pelareorep with a Pan-RAS Inhibitor in a colorectal cancer model, demonstrating that pelareoreps activity is maintained in the presence of RAS inhibition without evidence of antagonism between the two therapies. These findings support further evaluation of pelarearep’s potential to deepen and prolong responses to RAS-targeted therapy. Thomas Heineman, Chief Medical Officer of Oncolytic, said these results provided an encouraging first look at combining pelareerep with one of the most important emerging classes of targeted cancer therapies. The company plans to expand its preclinical evaluation of Pelareareon with RAS inhibitors across additional dosing schedules and RAS tumor models.
