Nurminen Logistics increases capacity on its Sweden-Italy rail route with two weekly departures.

Nurminen Logistics will increase capacity on its Sweden-Italy rail route by adding two weekly departures and expanding transport options from the first week of October 2026. The company will also deploy a more versatile wagon fleet, increasing flexibility by accommodating a wider range of container types and enabling the transport of dangerous goods. The service, launched earlier this year, operates between the Castelguelfo terminal near Parma, northern Italy and the Frövi terminal in Örebro County, central Sweden. The Sweden–Italy service is a fully integrated logistics solution, managing rail transport, first- and last-mile transportation, terminal operations and required transport documentation. Marjut Linnajärvi, VP, International Rail Operations and Sales at Nurminenlogistics, said the second weekly departure gives customers more capacity and flexibility in planning their supply chains.
