We proved today that ZM NITUI has the highest 'Phygital IQ' in the world," according to Newswire.
"Phygital" refers to a hybrid format that blends physical sports and digital gaming. In basketball, e-sports scores carry over to the real 3x3 court, meaning teams must excel at both. Five Teams Qualify, Two Spots Still Up for Grabs
Five teams across all three disciplines secured direct qualification for the Games of the Future 2026. Two remaining spots in each discipline will not be decided in Astana. Those slots will go to the top teams by overall World Phygital Ranking points earned across the 2025–2026 season. That means teams on the bubble will compete in lower-tier events over the next several weeks in a sprint for ranking points, The Whig reported.

The qualification of Valencia Basket drew particular attention. As a well-known European sports brand, their success in Astana suggests the Phygital format is moving beyond its roots in Central Asia and CIS countries.
