Phillip Massie Price Appointed as ChemoMetec's New CFO, Kim Nicolajsen to Depart in August 2026

ChemoMetec has a new CFO. The Danish cell analysis company's board has appointed Phillip Massie Price to the role, effective 3 August 2026, according to GlobeNewswire.
Price takes over from Kim Nicolajsen, who will step down on the same date. The two will briefly form the executive management team together before Nicolajsen's departure.
Price joins ChemoMetec from Unimed, a global healthcare group, where he served as Director of Corporate Finance. Before that, he held the role of Interim Group CFO at LiqTech International, a company that makes filtration and purification products, GlobeNewswire reported.
Price holds an MSc in Business Administration and Auditing from Copenhagen Business School. That academic background pairs well with ChemoMetec's focus on precision instruments and life science customers, according to Yahoo Finance.
Current CFO Kim Nicolajsen will leave ChemoMetec on 3 August 2026, the same day Price officially starts. The handover means the company avoids a gap in financial leadership, Yahoo Finance reported.
No reason was given for Nicolajsen's departure. ChemoMetec did not release a statement from him alongside the announcement.
ChemoMetec was founded in 1997. The Danish company makes and sells instruments used to count cells and run other biological measurements. Its customers include some of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies, according to GlobeNewswire.
Cell counting tools are critical in drug development and manufacturing. ChemoMetec's position in that market means its CFO role carries weight well beyond a typical small-cap company finance post.
