Stagecoach Country Music Festival Announces 2027 Return; Advance Passes Go On Sale This Week

Goldenvoice's Stagecoach Country Music Festival is heading into its 19th year, with the 2027 event locked in for April 23–25 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, Daily News reports. No lineup has been announced yet — but fans won't have to wait long to buy in. Advance passes go on sale June 18 at 11 a.m. PT at stagecoachfestival.com.
The sale opens alongside an American Express presale, giving cardmembers early access, OC Register notes. The 2027 dates place Stagecoach in its familiar spot right after Coachella, which runs April 9–11 and April 16–18 — capping a three-week run of Goldenvoice events at the same polo club grounds.
Goldenvoice is again selling passes before revealing a single artist. Tickets go on sale June 18 at 11 a.m. PT. Based on 2026 pricing, a 3-day general admission pass runs $429–$499. Reserved Corral seating reaches up to $2,299. Historically, Goldenvoice sells about 40% of its inventory during this June window alone, according to industry tracking firm Music Business Worldwide.
Industry analyst Dave Brooks of Billboard says the early sale works because of brand loyalty, not bookings. "Stagecoach has reached 'bucket list' status," Brooks said. "People aren't buying for the lineup — they're buying for the experience of the Empire Polo Club." The festival can hold up to 85,000 attendees per day, totaling 255,000 over three days.
The 2027 event builds on a 2026 edition that leaned hard into pop crossover. Headliners included Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, and Post Malone — whose shift into country music was a defining moment for the festival, Daily Breeze reports. Ella Langley, Pitbull, Bailey Zimmerman, Teddy Swims, and Red Clay Strays also performed.
Goldenvoice Executive Vice President Stacy Vee books the festival's talent. She recently told Rolling Stone that the team is "looking for artists who bridge the gap between traditional Nashville and global pop culture." That strategy has drawn criticism from some fans who say the festival has drifted too far from its country roots.
The economic stakes for the region are enormous. The three-week stretch of Coachella and Stagecoach is estimated to generate over $700 million in total economic impact for the Coachella Valley, according to the Greater Palm Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau. Local hotels typically hit 95–100% occupancy across all three weekends.
Each ticket sold generates roughly $5.01 in local tax revenue for the City of Indio, according to the Indio Finance Department. Indio Mayor Glenn Miller has praised the festival for bringing "unparalleled global visibility" to the valley, The Desert Sun has reported. The city's agreement with Goldenvoice runs through 2027 and allows attendance caps of up to 85,000 per day for Stagecoach.
A full artist announcement is not expected until late summer or early autumn, following the typical Goldenvoice pattern, Whittier Daily News notes. The 2027 lineup is widely expected to continue leaning into "country-pop" and "Y'allternative" trends. Analysts say Stagecoach increasingly acts as a launching pad for Nashville artists looking to break into the mainstream.
For now, fans can lock in passes starting June 18. American Express cardmembers get first access at the same 11 a.m. PT start time. Whether buyers know who's performing or not, the data suggests they'll show up — and so will the next wave of crossover country stars Stacy Vee has in mind.
