Inventus Mining Announces Grant of 3.4 Million Incentive Stock Options to Personnel

Inventus Mining Corp. (TSXV: IVS) has granted 3.4 million stock options to its officers, directors, employees, and consultants, effective September 2, 2026, according to Globe Newswire. The options can be exercised at $0.295 per share for five years under the company's 10% rolling stock option plan.
The Toronto-listed mineral explorer is developing the Pardo Paleoplacer Gold Project and the Sudbury 2.0 Critical Mineral Project. Inventus has approximately 221 million common shares outstanding. All options remain subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval, MontrealGazette reported.
Stock options reward employees and executives by letting them buy shares at a set price later. If the company's stock price rises above $0.295, option holders profit. This aligns worker incentives with company success. Options also help companies conserve cash when hiring or retaining talent.
Inventus focuses on two major mineral projects in Canada. The Pardo Paleoplacer Gold Project and the Sudbury 2.0 Critical Mineral Project represent the company's exploration strategy. Both projects target valuable commodities in strong mining jurisdictions.
Critical minerals like those targeted by Sudbury 2.0 are essential for batteries, electronics, and renewable energy. Gold from Pardo provides a traditional precious metals hedge. Spreading focus across both mineral types diversifies Inventus's risk.
A 10% rolling stock option plan lets a company issue options up to 10% of its outstanding shares each year. With 221 million shares outstanding, Inventus can grant roughly 22 million options annually under this structure. The 3.4 million options granted fit well within annual limits.
The five-year exercise window is standard in Canadian junior mining. Option holders have until September 2, 2031 to buy shares at $0.295. The five-year horizon gives employees time to see if the company's projects succeed and stock value climbs, Pincher Creek Echo noted.
TSX Venture Exchange approval remains pending for all options. The exchange reviews grants to ensure fair treatment of shareholders. Once approved, options become active tools for staff compensation and retention at Inventus.
