Arizona State Hosts Morgan State for Week 1 College Football Opener on September 5

The Arizona State Sun Devils and Morgan State Bears are set to play in a college football Week 1 game on Sept. 5, at Mountain America Stadium in Tempe, Arizona. The game, which marks the debut of new quarterback Cutter Boley, is scheduled for 7 p.m. MST (10 p.MST) on Saturday, Sept.5, 2026. The Sun Devils are coming off an 8-5 season in 2025, while the Morgan State Bear were 4-8 overall. Morgan State is currently 1-0 on the season after a 17-7 win over North Carolina AT&T. The Arizona Republic is predicting a 45-14 win for the Sun Devils over the Bears, while Sports Illustrated is predicting an Arizona State win over Morgan State.
