Red Sox outfielder Roman Anthony misses remaining Wild Card games due to wrist injury.

Red Sox outfielder Roman Anthony will not play in the rest of the AL Wild Card series against the Yankees due to discomfort in his right wrist during the team's 9-0 loss. The 22-year-old, who entered the season with high expectations, was removed from the roster after suffering from an injury and a strong performance in the World Baseball Classic. Despite being in pain leading up to Game 1, Anthony was sent back to Boston so he could re-image his hand, which caused additional damage to muscles in his wrist. The Red Sox's struggling offense was already ranked 30th in baseball and they will have to generate runs without Anthony.
