Nike Prepares Major 2026 Foamposite Releases Including Mummy and Oregon Ducks Editions

The Air Foamposite One “Mummy” is scheduled to arrive one day before Nike’s Air Jordan 5 “Halloween,” placing it in an especially crowded October lineup of Halloween-themed Nike and Jordan releases.
The “Mummy” is expected to release through Nike SNKRS and select Nike Sportswear retailers, rather than only through broadly identified Nike channels.
The “Mummy Duck 2” follows the 2013 retail Air Foamposite One “Oregon Ducks,” which featured feather graphics, green accents and Ducks branding on the tongue and heel.
A defining design difference between the Foamposite Pro and Foamposite One is the Pro’s oversized lateral Swoosh, a feature particularly prominent on the “Mummy Duck 2.”
The “Mummy Duck 2” release is arriving just before two anticipated Air Jordan launches, creating potential competition for shoppers’ sneaker budgets.
Nike is gearing up for a Foamposite-heavy late 2026 with two major mummy-themed releases. The Air Foamposite One "Mummy" drops October 16 for $240, featuring a Phantom shell with fossil-like graphics and tan cracked detailing SneakerNews. Just one month later on November 16, the Air Foamposite Pro "Mummy Duck 2" arrives for $230, celebrating Oregon's college football legacy with an iridescent shell and oversized Swoosh Yahoo Shopping.
The Air Foamposite One "Mummy" lands October 16, just one day before Nike's Air Jordan 5 "Halloween" release SneakerNews. This tight release window means sneaker fans face a packed Halloween lineup. The shoe pairs a Phantom molded shell with Barely Volt accents and Zoom Air cushioning for comfort. Carbon-fiber support runs through the sole for added stability.
According to Yahoo Shopping, the "Mummy" will release through Nike SNKRS and select Nike Sportswear retailers. The fossil-like graphics and cracked tan detailing give the shoe a Halloween vibe without being cartoonish. Foamposites typically require a break-in period, and wider-footed shoppers may need to size up for a proper fit.
The Air Foamposite Pro "Mummy Duck 2" honors the University of Oregon with a design featuring an iridescent or pine-green shell, black framing, and white detailing Yahoo Shopping. The most striking element is an oversized Swoosh on the lateral side—a signature difference between the Pro and One models. A mummy-wrapped Oregon Ducks mascot wraps around the heel for team pride.
This isn't Oregon's first Foamposite moment. The 2013 Air Foamposite One "Oregon Ducks" featured feather graphics and green accents on the tongue and heel SneakerNews. The new "Mummy Duck 2" continues that tradition with updated aesthetics. The November 16 release comes just ahead of two major Air Jordan drops, potentially splitting sneaker budgets WallStreetDaily.
Beyond the two October and November releases, Nike has more Foamposite heat planned for 2026. A Florida State-themed model and a "Green Camo" colorway are both expected to drop SneakerNews. These additions show Nike's commitment to bringing Foamposites back to mainstream sneaker culture after years of limited releases.
Nike ACG is also getting in on the action. The division is reportedly bringing back the Eggplant Air Max Foamdome on November 5, MensGear reports. That release comes just before the "Mummy Duck 2" drops, giving fans multiple Foam silhouettes to chase in the final months of 2026. Expect competition for stock across all these releases.
