Green Bay Packers Miss Aaron Banks for Season Opener Against Vikings

The Green Bay Packers are set to open their 2026 season against the Minnesota Vikings without their full starting offensive line. Left guard Aaron Banks is out due to knee tendinitis, and Zach Bako-Bewele will return for the game after undergoing knee surgery. This will be the first game with Jordan Morgan at full-time left tackle and Jacob Monk at right guard. Rookie Jager Burton is likely to replace Banks. Warren Brinson is also out due due to a calf injury. The rest of the Packers' inactives include linebacker Ty’Ron Hopper, tackle Travis Glover, wide receiver J. Michael Sturdivant and defensive tackle Anthony Campbell. The Vikings will not be missing any starters on offense or defense.
