WWE has released NXT wrestler Keanu Carver, whose legal name is Kevin Robertson, following a Florida court order of protection sought by another NXT performer. Wrestling Inc reported that the order was issued on September 29 after allegations of stalking, harassment, and repeated unwanted contact. A judge barred Robertson from contacting the petitioner or coming within 500 feet, with the order extended through a further hearing scheduled for October 20.
The 49-page petition reportedly detailed as many as 44 phone calls made in a single day and alleged physical altercations during and after the relationship. PWMania confirmed Robertson has been removed from WWE's internal roster. WWE has not publicly commented on the release, and no criminal charges have been reported. The allegations have not been tested in court.
A Florida judge issued the protection order after the petitioner, also an NXT performer, alleged stalking and harassment following their relationship's end. SI.com reported the order included restrictions on unwanted calls and visits to the petitioner's home. According to the petition, Robertson made repeated attempts to contact the petitioner despite being told to stop.
The petitioner also alleged that during unwanted visits, Robertson threatened to harm both the petitioner and himself. Head Topics noted the allegations included claims of physical abuse and emotional abuse. The court extended the order after a September 22 hearing, scheduling another hearing for October 20 to determine if further protections are needed.
After coverage of the petition emerged, Carver posted on X that critics were "virtue signaling" and wrote, "everything done inna dark come to light." He later deleted the post without offering further explanation. The social media activity came as WWE's decision to remove him from the roster became public.
Despite the serious allegations, no criminal charges have been reported against Robertson. PWInsider reported through PWMania that WWE removed Carver from its internal roster without providing public details about the release. The civil protection order remains the only legal action taken so far. All allegations remain unproven in court at this time.
