Pregnant South Carolina Woman and Unborn Child Die in Go-Kart Accident

A 24-year-old South Carolina woman and her unborn child, Baylee Johnson, died after their hair got caught in a go-kart sprocket. Johnson, who was 15 weeks pregnant, was rushed to hospital but revived by first responders. The baby was to be named Johnny. The incident occurred on Aug. 23 and caused Johnson's long ponytail to get caught in the sprocket, leading to a back injury that cut off oxygen. The family announced that the baby was named Johnny and expressed their love for him.
