UTA Restructures Leadership and Promotes Matt Rice to Lead Filmed Entertainment

UTA has announced a significant shakeup in its leadership of its film and TV lit and talent departments, with Matt Rice being promoted to president of the new UTA Filmed Entertainment unit. In the new structure, UTA’s Allan Haldeman, Blair Kohan, Jay Gassner and Julien Thuan have been elevated to managing partners of Filmed E. UTA has also named new department heads to lead key segments, including Amanda Hymson and Jordan Lonner, Lucinda Moorhead and Mickey Berman, who will run TV Literary. Talent will be steered by Hanley Baxter and John Sacks alongside longstanding talent chief Mike Jelline. The shakeup reflects the shifting sands for the content business and the business of representing boldface name talent.
