China's LandSpace Successfully Deploys Ten Satellites in Major Commercial Launch Milestone

The rocket lifted off at 2:26 p.m. Beijing Time on Sept. 15.
The 10 satellites were identified as the 19th batch deployed for the Qianfan Constellation, China’s first giant low-Earth-orbit commercial satellite constellation, developed by Shanghai-based SpaceSail.
The mission included the full engineering sequence for a high-density constellation launch, including coordinated multi-satellite operations, batch deployment, and passivation and deorbiting of the rocket’s final stage to help mitigate space-debris risks.
LandSpace said technology sharing between the Zhuque-2E and Zhuque-3 reduces costs and accelerates improvements through cross-model validation.
The mission was described as the first large-scale, multi-satellite deployment conducted by the Zhuque-2 rocket series, strengthening LandSpace’s ability to provide routine commercial launch services.

The Qianfan Constellation represents China's first major commercial satellite network in low-Earth orbit, competing with global satellite internet providers. Each successful batch deployment brings the constellation closer to providing widespread coverage and connectivity services.
