The winning ticket was purchased at a Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh convenience store in Quincy, a suburb north of St. Louis. The winner chose the lump sum payment, estimated to be $450.5 million before taxes. The Illinois Lottery is celebrating this historic win as the second-largest lottery prize in state history.
