Kandi Technologies Reports 452% Jump in First-Half Profit on Strong Off-Road Vehicle Sales

Kandi Technologies reported first-half 2026 revenue of $57.1 million, up 57.4% from a year earlier, and net income of $9.4 million, compared with $1.7 million in the same period of 2025. Operating income also shifted to a $5.5 million profit from a $1.9 million loss, as gross profit rose and operating expenses stayed broadly stable. Off-road vehicles and related parts generated $54.2 million in revenue, with growth supported in part by the consolidation of Rawrr, the electric off-road motorcycle company Kandi acquired in February. Kandi reported $285.7 million in cash, restricted cash and certificates of deposit at the end of June, giving it resources to support expansion in specialty vehicles and other markets.
Kandi’s diluted earnings per share rose to $0.10 in the first half of 2026, from $0.02 a year earlier.
Gross profit increased 51.5% to $24.8 million, while gross margin remained in the mid-40% range.
Kandi reported working capital of $189.5 million at June 30, 2026, and total assets of $461.4 million, up from $399.7 million at year-end 2025.
In June 2026, Kandi agreed to acquire a controlling stake in Hangzhou Xinchu New Energy Technology for RMB 20 million, marking its entry into the AI data-center backup-power and energy-storage market.
